Today's work shop was about working with one type face at at time.
we had to create 4-8 word plays by blowing up type and playing with positioning, cutting or scale.
Here are my first two boxes where i had played about with scale, layout, colour and position.
i really like the second box that i have created it has a mix of all the different things in them.and i like how i have used different colours and different ways to colour the typeface's in.
we then had to make a album cover for any album of our choice only use text and we could only use one type face but we could do anything with the layout, scale, colour and positioning.
i didn't really like this task, i think all of my out comes look very boring and simple i think album covers look best with illustrations or photography as wells as type faces, also the type faces that we had to work with where very boring and simple as well.
